How are Circuit Mixx workouts different from other fitness programs?

What format does a typical workout follow?

Most Circuit Mixx workouts follow the same basic format, beginning with a short warm-up, followed by 30 minutes of circuit training exercise, and ending with a short stretching cool down at the end of the workout.

What equipment and exercises are involved?

Circuit Mixx workouts use a variety of functional exercise equipment such as resistance bands, TRX Suspension Trainers, plyometric boxes, dip bars, pull-up bars, medicine balls, battling ropes, jump ropes, etc. Exercises focus on multi-joint multi-muscle compound resistance training movements such as squats, lunges, pushes, pulls, presses, dips, pull-ups, etc, as well as a variety of intense conditioning and plyometric movements.

How big are the classes?

Circuit Mixx classes have a maximum of 8 participants.

How long are the workouts?

Circuit Mixx workouts are 45 minutes in length.

What should I wear/bring to class?

Wear athletic clothes that allow you to move across your full range of motion, and bring a water bottle.

I’m not very fit. Can I still join Circuit Mixx?

Yes, we have clients of all fitness levels. When demonstrating exercises, we will always show a variety of options from beginner to advanced so that everyone will enjoy the workout and get the most out of it, regardless of their level of fitness.

Do you have on-site locker rooms and showers?

Yes, we have separate men’s and women’s locker rooms and shower facilities on site.

What days and times do your group workouts take place?

We run classes seven days a week, at a variety of times including morning, lunch hour, and evening. During the week, our workouts are offered at 09:00, 12:00, and 18:00, and on the weekend they run at 10:00. Check out out schedule for more info.

Do you offer one-on-one personal training sessions?

Yes, we offer one-on-one and semi-private personal training programs for people with unique needs that can’t be addressed in a group format.
